Now that x-mas has passed lots of ppl now have a new gameing console. Just wondering which ones you guys have tried and what you think about them. I think the 360 will do good especialy when Halo 3 comes out. Iv'e seen some previews and it looks gorgeous:) The wii had me sort of confused but in the 15 or so mins i played it i got a good hang of things playing the new zelda game. The graphics for zelda werent as appealing as some games for the 360 but it isnt too far behind. I havent had the chance to play a PS3 yet and dont think ill be trying it for a while at the rate their being shipped.

Wii is fun as hell. You can't go wrong with games like Zelda and the Marios (kart, party, etc).

360 is simply Xbox with better graphics. Still you have Halo and an already established online setup.

PS3 is poop. Way too expensive for something that is simply going to overheat and freeze. Unless you just want to play a bunch of rpgs, invest in something better.

I own an xbox 360 and I must say its a beast. Get a TV that supports high definition and then buy the HD cables and the graphics on the 360 will blow you away. If you get one though, you must get the premium one. The 360 is worthless without the hard drive so its better to just get the premium that way you get a wireless controller for free pretty much.

The Wii is very fun to play. The way you play is very different and unique. A couple down sides are the graphics. It wasn't meant to display extreme details in its games. It also has no more value other than a game machine. It has no movie play back but it does have some limited internet capability. You can also download and play old games on there, but right now there's not much to download.

The PS3 from what i've seen is a power house for an arm and a leg. Something i've also noticed is that in 3 stores i've gone to (Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Circuit City) ALL 3 were frozen in the middle of a game. That doesn't look too good...

If you're willing to spend the $$ for as much as a PS 3, then what i'd do is get the 360 AND the Wii for just a tad bit over the price of the PS3.

If you have the money go with the ps3. Right now the games are pretty much the same on both 360 and PS3 but in not to long when games start taking more ressources and more space the PS3 will be better. Also the fact that the storage media used on the ps3 is so big that can put HD games on it, something you won't see on the 360. de 360 does support HD but no games will be in HD. They only HD thing you will have is movies from the 200$ hd-dvd addon. Also if you want to watch HD movies having the bluray player is great considering it's the cheapest available bluray player. The 360 might have an advantage right now but once killer apps start coming out on the PS3 the 360 will fall quite a bit behind. And the wii is cool for a few hours and then gets lame, if you are a casual gamer and play once a month or so get this one if not go PS3.

I currently have all 3 consoles and enjoy the games on the 360 the most but seeing what's coming up for the PS3 I have no doubt it will be the best.

I played Wii tennis once. It was fun as hell. One of my friends has it with 4 controllers. I played with him and it was fun as hell ^_^. I like the Wii.

I remember trying the PS3 when I was shopping for my brother at Best Buy. Compared to something like the 360 (which the same friend that has the Wii has), I'd have to say this is a waste. It reminded me of the PS2.

Xbox 360, I'd have to say bust. It's just another regular Xbox. Maybe a few new games, but who cares.

IMO, Computers for the win. Sure, you have to upgrade them time to time (For me, once or twice yearly). But they have the most game variety, best online capabilities, and highest population. There's the internet ^_^.

Console-wise. I'd choose the Wii. Fun ^_^

Id have to say the 360 is the best at the moment, I've played alot of the games, like hockey for instince, very good graphics, and doesn't get boring. Any gun game you play for the 360 is amazing, the detail, and controls, even the controller itself are comfortable ^_^. Ive played the wii, its also pretty slick, Ive played boxing, and it made me sweat so hard that I gave up. It will be much better in the future, when more games come out, but right now the 360 is by far the best. Oh and btw, havn't tried the ps3 :P

Wii - amazingly fun. Definately a gameplay over graphics console.

360 - great graphics, large number of titles, easy to get a hold of.

ps3 - worst system i've ever seen/played. freezes about 6 times a day at work and thats with a water cooler fan added to it. whoever told you they were hard to get ahold of is retarded. My store has 13 60 GB just sitting in the back room. We've had them for a week unable to sell. We're even getting PS3s traded in and returned.

I never owned a 64...i had a super nes for the longest time and i still play it everyonce and a while. Crono Trigger for super nes all the way. Now that i think about it that would be a good game to upgrade and put out for one of todays consoles.

A week after the Wii was released they announced the DVD attachment that will be availble by mid 2007. Just to let those who don't alreaddy know know.

Wii graphics will improve drastically. For the launch-titles/early release games the developers were given basically gamecube dev-kit. So most games have pretty much 'gc style' graphics. However as time progresses Wii graphic capabilities will be used to its full extent. Although, the same can be said for PS3 as the launch titles aren't showing its full potential.

Yup game developers will have about 5 years before the next era of consoles is released. Look at how far the gamecube, xbox and ps2 games have come graphicaly since their debut 5 years ago.

I'd go for a Wii.

I have a Wii and an Xbox 360 and the Wii seems much more capturing then the 360.

The 360 is fun until you beat all the games and online gets repetitive even with all the crazy people that make you laugh and stuff.

But the Wii is more addicting.. and it makes you loose arm fat. Plus the Wii is smaller. I don't think the graphics for Zelda games will get tooo much better... Mine lagged when I did the spiral move on 3 goblins at once. =(

So like... Wii = best choice. Cheapest too.

I tried the PS3 too though, graphics are pretty amazing already. =). I don't have enough experience with it yet to say anything about it.
