What everyone think about the trades. wings get Bertuzzi and calder. edmonton trades smyth to NY. interesting. huh?

As long as Bertuzzi isn't in Vancouver I'm fine with it...

Bertuzi prolly won't be healthy until maybe the playoffs. And Smyth, he got traded because he was asking for too much. Yes, he was the face of the team, but he wasn't all that good. Just the best on Edmonton lol :P

The Smyth deal surprised me a lot, but the team I am most impressed with is Pittsburgh. Picking up who they did, they have a major chance to go deep into the playoffs.

Also, Bertuzzi is going to flop when he's back. I don't like him at all.

well as a detroit fan, i hope that doesnt happen. But i agree that pittsburg is a great team. Id put them in the top 3 or 4

Smyth was my home boy. I'm gonna miss having him play for my hometown =(. Oh well..

But yeah.. Oilers aren't going to make the playoffs for 2 years AFTER this season(they won't make it this one either). And Pittsburgh ftw

The Smyth trade was a steal for the New York Islanders, to put that quite simply.

If Bertuzzi can regain some of his old style back, and start playing the way he plays best, then the wings have a real deal.

Penguins made a good move picking up Roberts and Laroche. Both will come in handy for the playoffs...btw pens just won back to back wins last night against Buffalo and tonight against New Jersey...top 2 teams :)
