Quite a dilema 33 replies
So.. I've found myself with many many projectsfor NN, and I'm not sure which to focus on.
So, Whatwould you, the users prefer me tofinish first?
1.) NNMS (Netnexus Messaging System)
2.) NNPS (Netnexus Point system)
3.) WaR2
4.) NNT (Netnexus Theater)

1) Because Nations doesn't have messaging already.
2) Because we care about cool shiny titles and whatever else can be bought with points for spamming.

ive never played war2 but i hear great things about it. so that would be me preferance. then perhaps the point system. everything else is irrelevant to me.
Maybe you could go into a little more detail about what each thing entailed. I understand what the NNMS is, but what about Netnexus theatre and the point system. As for War2, any new game would be a great addition.
I dont have the point system fully planned yet, but the idea is simple.
1.) Users may gain points by refering new users, when that new user buys Vip for the first time, you will gain points.
2.) Points can be awarded to users by the staff for any number of things, Being helpful to new users, promoting the site, being constructive members of the community, confirmed bug reports, etc... the possibilities are practically endless.
Points can also be taken away for ToU violations.
3.) Points will be awarded to the top 5 winners of the nations rounds, Winners of TL tourneys, and various other things tied to netnexus.
4.) Points can be used to buy extras in TL (Custom weapons and armor), Troops/money/food/oil in nations, Items/customs/guild extras in WaR2, Vip, larger homepage sizes, Avatar changes, special siggy options, and much much more.
As for NNT, think of it as youtube, meets newgrounds, meets NN. i.e user submitted videos/games with rating and coment systems, and various other options.
