Wow. I wonder why people use Confederate flags. Are they that ignorant?
Yup:

Weap-- that was just a subtle message to X clan--"you wear your X , I'll wear mine.".. is what the t -shirt says
cid- people who think the confederate flag is a symbol for slavery or oppression are ignorant.
Amen
It's a symbol for what, then?
It's a symbol of southern heritage, i'd say.. Not slavery, or anything like that.
If you guys don't know what I'm talking about, you obviously didn't notice the deleted post. Smart alecs.

Its not even a southern heritage thing. There are two different flags from the Civil War days. There is the Southern flag which represented their "country". And there was the War flag which represented their soldiers.
The flag JEB showed represents their soldiers. Men who fought for what they thought was right. They weren't even necessarily fighting for slavery. They were fighting for their land. People who wear or display the war flag are honoring and "supporting their troops". I don't see whats ignorant about that.
I love the Civil War. Only war you'll find with Brothers fighting on both sides. Read your history books, you might learn something about yourself.

I agree with that, Danny.. I just tried to sum it up. lol.
Thanks weap =)
Are you sure they were fighting for what they believed in?
Or were they conscripted and forcibly put in the frontlines of the bloddiest war in American history...

lol I never deleted it to begin with :p
I believe the North were the ones who were forcibly put in the frontlines. I also believe that the south had a higher percentage of volunteers. If I'm wrong, please someone correct me. Its been a long time since I took a class on the Civil War.
