I don't really believe all the alien hype.
Ghosts, now that's another story.

Not really. Ghosts are just something someone imagined to make up for not knowing what happens after you die.
And aliens are just something someone imagined because they were curious as to if there were other living things out there.

no
Look at it this way.
We are one planet of nine orbiting our sun
Sun is one star of several billion in the galaxy.
The galaxy is one of several billion in the universe.
The universe is (probably) one of many.
Do you REALLY think that we're the only ones around?

Okay, I shouldn't say I don't believe they exsist.. but, I don't believe they're super intellegant.. flying ufos at the speed of light or something.
If you think about how big the universe actually is, i think there is.
The existence of life on other planets is inevitable, now, as far as MIB type things, no.
Who's to say...GOD is, what WE call Aliens,
like Bart Simpson....OOOOOOOOOOOOh....:O)
like Bart Simpson....OOOOOOOOOOOOh....:O)
I believe that there is life maybe in other galaxys, maybe there's another Earth somewhere out there...

Aliens? Sure they exist. I got a house full of them running amok. Oh, wait, those are the kids!
There are two ways to see this.
The first one being Illidan's (most likely) logical one.
And there's this one where you "think":
Saying that somewhere in the universe a diamond as big as a country exists may sound foolish, but it not being disprovable(if thats a word) doesnt mean it DOES exist.
The logical one is the one I beleive in, but I respect anyone who thinks like the other one.
I also happen to laugh at whoever can say "No" without elaborating..or even worse..elaborating with religious facts. :)

to REALIZE the TRUTH take away the OBVIOUS and what ever is left no matter how REMOTE is the TRUTH....says WARBEAST!
And Warbeast also said he could beat Weap in a 1v1...
are you sure the thing u saw in the telescope wasn't just a frisbee? is thats how u spell it
WAIT WAIT...
When you saw these so called "aliens" by any chance...
were you on crack?

When you set religion aside, it's only logical to assume that there is life elsewhere in the universe, if not right here in our own galaxy. I say ASSUME because there is no way to PROVE the existance of aliens (or the lack ther of), no matter how much we debate it. Therefore, all we can really do is analyze and assume. And though I believe they exist somewhere, I don't think they go out of their way to visit earth.....I mean, why would they bother? Appearently, they've been studying us for at least 50 years, and even more fantastically, possibaly 100s. I know we aren't that interesting, especially to a species that has accomplished interstellar travel. If they really visited us, it would be a little less like a science class field trip and a little more like Independance Day..... o.O

And Warbeast: I'm not knocking religion, I'm just stating an opinion, so no offence meant!
I love how all these people are trying to give an explanation, but like we all know you're on pot dude so just confess it now before more retards provide their moronic viewpoints.
It may be moronic, but to those of us with no lives its a great way to waste time! O.o

Besides, I happen to believe aliens exist. I just don't think they come here in flying saucers. And there's no need to call us retards, as there are entire career fields based around proving the exitance of aliens. Obviously there's someone out there much smarter than you who has cause to believe they exist... x_x
In all fairness, you have to be a fair bit eccentric to spend your life searching for ET.
Does it matter?
They have nothing to do with us, I have more important things to worry about.

That may be true, but many of the most brilliant minds in history were thought to be eccentric or crazy by the people of the day. Looking back now, we call them geniuses, and covet their brilliance. Hind-sight's 20/20, I suppose.....

The universe is huge, and contains enough planets, galaxies, stars, etc. that there must be at least a few other planets capable of supporting life. However, I do not believe we have ever seen alien vehicles. The universe is simply too big and the challenges too big for a craft to reach us. And why would they bother? Think of the timeline. We've been active in space for 50 years. We've been around in big numbers for a few thousand years. Now think of the size of the universe, the likely limits of supposed "faster than light travel," and how long an extraterrestrial lifeform might have been around. What are the chances they could have found us? Very, very low.
Now look at all the weirdos who see UFOs...it's simply insane to believe even one of the sightings is real.

Mathematically, regardless of how large the universe is or how many universes there are, (barring infinity) it is entirely -possible- for Earth to be the only planet supporting life.
That is of course given that there is a limit to the size/number of universes. In an infinitely large universe, or in a case where there are an infinite number of universes, then there is no question that other life exists.
So, no, you can't prove that they DON'T exists. But you sure can prove that they do. You just have to prove that the universe(s) go (as buzz lightyear would say) to infinity, and beyond!

Of course it's possible, but it's equally possible that there is a planet that has a good enough atmosphere for something to live.

Excuse my layman's use of words.:)
Yep, I highlighted "possible".
I just wanted to point that out because everyone was saying "well, the universe is so big, how can there NOT be other life?"

It IS possible that we're alone in the universe, but even speaking mathematically, the odds are against it in an astronomical sense. *lol, me puns* However, it would be incredibly bull-headed of me not to admit that you could be right. After all, odds and statistics are often dead wrong and far to generalized, not to mention exagerated. o.O
I thought this would be a good place for this post, but I seen this on the science channel awhile ago, and just googled it.. What do you think about this?

If this is true, it says it hasn't been yet, but seems very likely to me atleast, but if it is true, there would have to be more lifeforms in the universe.
Well, this seems like a better article, even tho they both say the same thing pretty much, this one has more pictures and explains it better I think, if you didn't get the first one, read this one :p
