Based on actual coolness factor, I liked Squirtle because of his bad-ass shades, and Meowth from Team Rocket 'cause he's the top cat, but I have to give it to Ash's Pikachu. That little bugger has been through damn near everything and still managed to live to tell the tale. On top of that, he puts up with all of Ash's crap.

Oh, and one more thing about Pokemon. You knew that things were about to get dramatic whenever Ash would turn his hat around. It was like "ZOMG! HIS HAT IS BACKWARDS! HE MUST MEAN BUSINESS!!!"
