At most, their are about 17 vips on nations.
About 9 of them use the market (in excess)
Usually, there are about 20 vips and 15 that uses the market regularly.
Why is there food and oil at 3?
At this advantage you could have oil at 5 and food at 5 and NOT lose any money whatso ever.
In fact you would gain money, while hurting the non vip compention for having to pay alot more for resources. Or having them use more turns on food/oil reseraches.
Think about that :P

basically if a vip like Sal can survive at $3, then he sees an advantage at setting it as low as possible to make it easier for clanmates, and harder for other vips to win.

Gemz, when me and Neo where controlling the market at the beginning of the round, we were keeping it at 8-9$
Now, because of nuget-chimp (Space-Monkey) and Sal, they undercutted us to sell it at 3$

Yep...and now ive got super base tech, i got 40 000 000 in the last 5 days which i used to help clan mates and store troops and im having a HARD time taking the prices back up...
seriously...highroller dropped all his old food/oil down to 3$ so hes got tons...

I understand under cutting. I undercutted(is that a word?) alot. But their is a certain limit you can undercutt before everyone else jumps on bandwagon.
For example:
Everything is at 4/5
I need some money so i put 400k worth of oil up for 3.
That will sell quickly
Next.

you could collaborate pretty easily if you had a forum thread which said "VIP COLLABORATIVE PRICES" or something
then set a price that all vips post at unless they want quick cash ;)

Similar things were done...not all VIPs participated. If it did happen tho, i'd gladly take part in this.
Thing is, it would even have chances to work than to set war rules since we're not that many with VIP. Anyways...

Meh, in competition, customer wins. All VIPs should stay competing, for the sake of Inner Circle(we know they can't survive long). If you guys get together and reached certain agreement about market price, that'd be monopolizing and killing competition. In another word, you'd be M$! You guys wouldn't want that, would you?
