Well i was doing my normal porn search routine...
Typed in 400lb hair midgets. And this was at the top of the list. Now while i was tempted to sue for false advertising, after 5 minutes of play i realized how fun the game was and boom, here we are.

Umpire9 , a former player, talked another former player, Custer, and myself into playing. We all work out of the same office.
Some guy in my grade 7 class showed me NN, but he was playing TL. Can't remember his name. Think it was Morgan, something.
Pretty simple.
Played SC/BW a lot.
Googled "terran" like 7 years ago.
Stumbled across TL.
Joined [corps]
Watched in amazement as Larzuk Giggs and someone else I can't remember achieved Diety status(it was a big deal back then, nobody else had done it..)
Void came
NN came back
Joined SK
Quickly realized I hated TL once I hit about Admiral/Prince
Gave away all my guys
Moved over to nations
Joined Inner Circle Beta
OK, maybe not so simple.

PWNT!
Anyways, I started playing Terran Legacy in Grade 7 when I had seen a bunch of other kids playing it during lunch hour. I didn't have an NN account until they had people sign up for the beta. I made a file called nettogrof and attempted to sign up. When I got denied I used the handy Name-Change feature to become Coop. My first round playing Nations was right after the beta was over.

I came by boat
i can believe that
About 3 years ago I was thinking of another site I used to go to – 2am games – I used to rule 2 games** there but quit them both in 2000 as things were busy at school. So 3 years ago was 2004 – well by 2004, 2am games was gone – went bankrupt (lifetime membership was $20 – I should sue for breach of contract I was only there for 3 years – lol)
So, I’m thinking – shoot, too bad those were great war games – let’s try to find another.
I searched for “online war games” – found some fantasy crud with dragons and wizards – so I changed the search to “wwII online war games” – and I found nations.
** the two games were the invisible hand – a sim city kind of game – you had to be elected mayor to do the zoning, other mayor wanabies would be running against you - elections happened every 3 days or so – you could also play a industrial developer – commercial developer or a residential developer – the city would be reset in 30 days or so – I started out as a developer, ended up as mayor for most of a year at the end. – the other one – I don’t recall the name – a map based war game – real time – only myself and about 40 others played that one. It was 150 or so for the sim city type game. (most ppl played other games – one game had 2,000 players)
R.I.P. 2 am games

WAaaaaaaay back in the 4th grade. I knew 2 people playing TL. Played that, then war2. Nations beta came out didnt get in, after that was over I got a chance to play it, wasn't my kind of game so I never played another round.
A cuz of mine told me about it, bout 5 or so years ago, been out of this game for the last 3 or so.
I found Nations riding an alcohol induced stupor....j/k. I too found Nations doing a search for “wwII online war games”.

I found Nations in a similiar way that Shady had. It was in the computer lab at lunch with my friends, and I think playing Scorch had a lot to do with our ambition to find and play other war games online. One day, on another computer lab lunch hour, probably after we were all bored with Scorch, a friend of mine showed me Nations on the computer he was using right in front of me, and I copied the URL and signed up. This was fresh into grade 8, so I'd say this was about 6 and a half years ago, so I'd say I joined nations in beta or something. Who knows. Remember making two accounts named Gino and Cujo for some odd reason. Even more of an oddity for me to remember that I sent Scott AKA Superman(Who joined Nations about the same time as me with an R2D2 account, I believe) a message telling him a RS account password and name so that he could have it. And I even remember the name and PW: Merlin(Yes, I was the original Merlin in RS) and the PW was Bluedick. Yep. :D
Anyway, give or take, that is a short and crude summary of how I first joined Nations.
To finish this post with some E-Pride, I bet I was here before most nations players were. :P Though I also know there were many before me too.
