ok ive decided to make this thread for 2 purposes.
1) see what NNers think of X
2) use this information to make X better
with that said, i would like anyone/everyone to post 1 thing you like about X and 1 thing you dislike about X. detailed explanations are preferred.

mixed. I hated it before I joined, but now I like it a lot!

I was a lot like Peygan. Originally I hated X, but my strong belief is "if you can't beat them, join them" and that's exactly what happened.
I don't like X as a clan, i like the people in it.

X is awful. You guys bully people around just because you "Can". Seems like just another massing clan. I bet if Pic was still playing he would be there.

I don't really know the people in x. But my first impression of them is as a "very large clan with gay players" which pawns other smaller clans.
X will use anything they can to win.

ok...this thread wasnt made to flame X! the whole idea is to use this information to make it better.
by being ignorant and flaming the heck outta the clan, youre only contributing to the very problem you have with the clan. with that said, please list 1 thing you LIKE and 1 thing you DISLIKE and why. very simple.

I never hated ill feelings for X, they were my first nations clan, some of the orginal members and SAs, were the first to teach me the game.. so, I can't hate what taught me the game :p

Well, i guess you want to know why i think you guys as a clan are "jack-alls". Its pretty easy, you guys having more members and in some cases more talented active members are able to push individual clans around and get your way with massing players.
And then you comment..daily...several times:

I've been a long time hater of X. For quite a few reasons.
1) For their ever-living cheap play.
2) For their uncanny ability to have such a large number of a mixture of highly annoying people, idiots, and yet some good players who seem to pull them all through.
I view X as more of a misfit with the clans it was created with and therefore bullied other, smaller, weaker clans in the wake of the departure of the great clans so that they could in turn seem "Great" as well.

i will say this...X is the best clan, its got numbers and some respectable players...but its true you guys do seem to "bully" other players...its like your the evil tyrant of nations. and all the little clan i.e iconz, IC, AC or whatever, are small rebellious groups tryin to "deal" with the tyrants or trying to basically dethrone them.

i belive that x shows alot of support to there clan members and they back each other up when needed and they also have fun just because you dont like that a clan is stronger then yours dosent mean that they are bullying any one, i bet if you were in x shoes you all would do the same thing basicaly you have to do what you have to do to servive in the game

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutly. Such is the case with X. When a person or group of persons have power perceived to be superior, they inevitably abuse that power and exploit the weak. It's no one person's fault, and is not a problem exclusive to X. If Iconz or IC had the numbers X does, they would do the same thing. Thats just nature. o.O

Not speaking for ic, but iconz would not do the same thing. We would win on skill alone, but intimidation tactics.

Well I cant really name anything I dont lke about X other than how many people hate it for no real reason. Several people say we bully, and we really don't, we do use our size to our advantage and we arent afraid to strike, but why not, we have over 20 members and 90% are excelent players, why not use that to every advantage?
What I like most about X is the general strive for excelence from every member in the clan, as a whole that makes the clan better, its a constant compition for who can do the best, but that compition doesnt take away from the clan as a whole.

Guess you can say that X is a hall monitor that carries a rocket launcher to straighten out the bad kids.
i think nuggems said it best when he said we do NOT pick on people. however, if you test the waters, you wont like what you get. when UA came about, what clan was targeted? X! (and we couldnt have done anything since the clan got remade in the same round). how about vikings? we didnt start anything we them yet we ended up fighting them. how about Domination? they ask X for a peaceful round and even a clan alliance and next thing you know, they are massing our guys. with that said, stop with the whole "X bullies people", cause that is far from true. X is a group of loyal members. "one for all, all for one". you hit us, we hit you 10x harder. dont get upset cause you took a worse beating and say we pick on you. poke someone once, poke someone twice...you might get "stop". poke someone 20 times and youre sure to get knocked to the floor. its the same thing with attacking our guys. its all about a loyalty factor.
X's main goal is to do well, to try to be the best, but for our size people say we bully, when in the past say 6 rounds did we start a war? infact dont even mention the wars, just name a few incidents where we bullied someone, all we've ever done is protect ourselves.
As the thread nears it's end, the summary goes like this: X are Bullies. :D
you know what? everyone who says X are bullies, think about it this way.. Quit complaining about it, and do something. Simple as that..

Tina, you are spot on as all large clans seem to get tagged as "bullies", deserved or not.

nirvana was only a good clan when sal led it. as soon as he left it in the hands of idiots it became a piece of crap clan and quickly fell apart.

Ok..domination asked for a peacefull round and an alliance, and was told no. X members did hit domination members, so they were farms..youll see my point soon.
Last round, x attacked nearly any person dropping 4+ lands the last week of the game, they were hitting people who "farmed". Members of iconz hit members in X who were "farms" inside of X. Essentially, iconz were told, "stop hitting our members or there will be a war." "your members are farms!!!" "yeah, so what, stop hitting them or we war!!"
I think you get my point. X hits farms, then when their clan has farms, they threaten the smaller clans with war. You dont call that bullying?

In essence, X is a bully. I don't deny it. However, we have some pretty smart tactics. I don't agree with the "we can hit you but you can't hit us" theory, but I think it's a good idea to use strength to our advantage. This is why I joined in the first place: I didn't feel like fighting against 20 people at once.

uh the purpose of the thread was not about who liked X. i could care less to be honest. it was to see what were X's best qualities and what we could work on. thats all!

Love the people in X, but hate the clan. You will never see me in that clan. The attitudes and politics are the main reasons. I'm not going to argue it though.

There's nothing immature about wanting to improve X so that its the best clan it can be! As 90% of the posts in this thread pointed out, lots of people don't like X. Therefore, it makes sense to try to improve it. Not to mention the fact that many members at least LOOKED at other clans for the new round. Obviously it needs work, and AK is just trying to see how much. Hope it goes well, AK! ^_^

nowhere am i asking about posting how much you hate X. i am asking for reasons of spite or like so i can use this information to better the clan.
obviously people just want this to be another flame thread. thank you to those that actually did answer my question(s).
I'll add my two cents to this thread here...
First of all, I'd like to make a remark to what SPARKSMOKE24 said in his original post. Being Canadian, I find that EXTREMELY offensive! Quite frankly, that is an attitude you'd see from a bigot.
Next point;
I do agree with the notion that Xis essentially the America of (modern day) Nations. They are the most powerful military group within the game today.
As I have not been back for long, I cannot comment on if X has bullied anyone in the past; however, Guilda's example does seem somewhat like bullying.
Next Point;
There has been many clans who have had a much larger membership compared to others before X, and I dare say that they are not the last to hold such an advantage.
The Dark Ravens and The Allias (no, not a spelling error) held almost 90% of the active members back int he closed beta, and neither bullied or used tactics to strong arm the other, smaller clans. (in fact, they were bitter enemies throughout the beta, and the other, smaller clans found themselves allied with one side or the other)
The Dark Ravens were even strong, and had a large member base, after the beta. As did Clan Spyder and my own The Inner Circle, but none of us used out power to flaunt in the face of other clans. Sure, we used diplomacy to integrate other clans, but not bully tactics.
The Inner Circle has had MANY times been one of the larger clans in Nations. And although I have not been leading it for many years, to the best of my knowledge, we have never bullied or used our power to flaunt over others.
And who could forget about Dynasty? The fist clan in Nations to break the 100 member barrier. Can anyone remember them bullying?
THE CLOSEST thing to bullying any of the above mentioned clans (and I include X in this statement) has done that is closed to bully tactics (that I can recall or have seen/heard about) is during the massive alliance period, as I call it. Which was when the three largest clans (X, IC, and DC) were all STRONGLY allied. No one dared attack anyone for any reason for fear of essentially 75-80% of Nations retaliating.
Suggestions;
First in regards to the "you attack a member and we'll hit you harder in response" nonsense. Anyone remember the old term "Random Attacks"? Essentially, a person doesn't attack someone else on purpose, or cause they have a vendetta against them or their affiliated clan, it is just for land!!
My old rule of 1 attack = 1 retaliation is the best methodology to this. You lost 4 land against someone, and only regained 1 in your retaliation? Tuff luck! Massing them till you regain all your lost land, or until you come up ahead, is asking for trouble! Asking for them to call in for help.
Now to X. If you have a problem With people leaving for other clans, it may have nothing to do with the way you are being run, or your leadership at all. Frankly, the people who left may just want a change of scenery! Or, maybe you are doing something that they personally do not agree with, and so leave for the good of the clan or to find somewhere else that does what they think is right.
Over all, the masses will usually hate the strongest; and, they may take their methodology's in the wrong context (ie, calling them bullies). All you can do is live with it, and take their hateful comments as constructive criticism (regardless of how they mean it) or as a compliment!

Essentially I agree with 99% of what Highwind has said here. I have been here long enough to see these arguments all happen before.I dont care for them now and never did. You can argue untill your blue in the face that X is bad.

This is BS, we are given boundrys to play within, We do that to the absolute best of our ability. IF the rules change we will change how we play so we are still playing within the rules.
