Meaning a screeny sent to me over msn, showing me the Clock time on his computer... And It would have to be quick, he wouldn't be able to get the VIP till i'm completely sure he ain't screwing me.
Also... We can remote shore or whatever it's called which gives access to his comp over internet, and I'd see the page for myself...

Is it simply switching tech allies. If you guarantee me like $100 (and use a 3rd party so that you can't scam me), I'll do it :P

Tech swapping is when you have a techie with 0 turns who just used them for you.
Then you drop him and get someone else who has 125 turns.
It takes 2 days to change techies.
But, by tech swapping you get a 31ish turn boost each time you do it.
So, you can swap 3 techies out, every 2 days.
so thats 15 days of swapping. 31 turns per techie
15*31*3 = 1395 extra turns.

So it seems that they have a 2 day wait, before you can cancel, yet you don't have 2 days to wait to accept/offer techies, after cancelling an alliance. hmmm... I didn't want to check for myself, that's why I was asking how this "tech swapping" was done...

Restrictions should be put in place, to avoid game error, not in whatever way it's being put in place as I see it is here. Only thing it's stopping is if your allie sucks and you wanna cancel it, you can't! O.o
