How much would you pay for changes? 29 replies
I've been told in order for Nations to be changed, it needs major recoding. Of course, we all know the salaries of the "employees" here are pretty small (0$/year). Therefor, none of them want to face this big task.
Would an incentive push things in the right direction?
I've recently made a ticket explaining how I thought proposing community ideas back to the community and allowing votes to happen would heat things up and be of great help for the game's interest.
How much would you be willing to pay for something to happen? More importantly, which admin would be up for the actual "Job"?
I'll start with 20$!

i can;t say for sure right now since i have too relocate by this coming monday, but i will definately do something withing the next week and a half or so.

arghh id like to say id match. but i would need a proper presentation, then i would definetly consider sinking my money into this site. but i would need some kind of return, for my investment.

meh, i would invest money. i wouldnt donate, and as an investor i would expect a return. because sites like this do have potential, if handled correctly.
What i'd be paying for is not for increasing the speed at which TA is coming out, it's to finally do what has to be done with what's been running NN for the past years: Nations.

Nations is a WWII game, not a stone age game, otherwise instead of tanks and plane wed have t-rex riders and pteradacdyl fliers.
Why pay money? It seems stupid to me.

I've payed almost 2 years of vip I feel I've done my part :)

Nevermind. You don't need to throw cash at us to feel like only something will be accomplished if you do it that way. Although the gesture is appreciated, I think I'll have to respectfully decline this proposition. I'll never turn down any donations made to NN (or me) out of the goodness of one's heart, hwever to bribe me to do something can only be achieved for certain things! :)
Make a list of things you'd like to see happen, and I'll take a look at it, then weigh the time to feasability ratios.
I've also been incredibly sick for a bit, and has pretty much reduced me to not getting out of bed.

I wouldn't pay another damned cent, not even if there was a fire.
I've paid for memberships for like 2 years already, and I really don't see the reasoning for paying extra for something that should already be happening.
But alas, if u guys wanna pay extra go for it, I really hope that actually happens. Maby I'd be back to enjoy the stuff u guys bought:)

id gladly match the $20 by others but it would depend on the type of changes (naturally whether i agree with them or not) and whether theyd be executed in timely fashion.
as far as immediate suggestions/changes...
1) make the max price for market items $20 again
2) take a look into jings(?) idea about a Nations bank.
3) bring back the "winner" tag
4) host another "mass blake" event
...ill continue to add when i have more time.
Id throw 20 at em.
Maybe NN should put up an IPO. Then all we users can buy up shares of this site. Sort of we are investing and MAY have returns. And at the same time, NN gets some cash boost to improve itself and we own the site too
