Ok Im new and really have no idea what im suppose to be researching or if there is a certain way to research more then 1 thing. such as when people say they tech in 4's. my food and oil is maxed and residential is pretty high. I also have like 4 lands and some military.

okay, get as much land as you can, at the start get as much military, industrial, ag and ref as you can, and try to get to 100 land.

After 70-100 turns, set your maxes to 15% and set your government to Republic (I don't think that does anything, but it doesn't hurt). Research military, weapons, industrial, and medical. Get Agri and Ref as necessary. Buy troops and research land. Less troops = less oil/food needed. Research in multiples of 4 (4, 8, 12, etc.) if you have tech allies (which you should). Tech allies get 1 unit of what you research for every 4 you research. If you do 3, they get nothing; 7, only 1. Doing 3 and then another 3 (in a different "batch") will give them nothing. If you can't afford to do 4, do something else until you can.

Well I dont see how I can get enough money to research buy military units and explore for land I only got to 10 land and im down really low on money.
