there were only SEVEN (7) people on for the final rise last night.

2. stick a fork in nations because it's done!
3. it ain't over till it's over-well IT'S OVER!

5. dead as a door nail!
add to this list if you want but the bottom line is NATIONS HAS EXPIRED!

Yea the holidays knocked me ‘off line’ as well, Putting up Christmas lights, university exams, three weeks of company over at my house, buying presents for my 4 kids, Christmas day itself, trying to recover from the crazy mess that occurred on Christmas day – then even more company staying with us & new years.
I’m looking forward to the university starting up again (I work full time and do a 60% course load at the university), as it will be easier then the ‘holidays’.
Anyway, I’m back again – playing both games.

I keep intending to play and then missing the start of the round by a day or two. This time I got in early enough that I'm only 15 points behind, so I may just continue to play if I can get some good techies. All 3 of mine are inactive :P

I think there are only five VIP'S left in Nations. No one in charge cares anymore so why play? I will be quitting at the end of this round.

Or at least that's how someone seems to think of a perfectly good strategy that not only reward those who actually tries to win, but support the site.

wow, your all making me feel young.. this person's got 2 kids.. this guy gots 5 kids.. slow down.. hahaha im only 20 bout to turn the big 21 and was starting to think I was gettin old until I saw some of these posts! Lol but the matter of fact is that everyone is living their life and if they dont have time to play then they dont have the time to play.. Nations isnt falling, but its definately not rising.. but Im ranked 18th and the competition to make the top 10 is still pretty intense!!!!!
Nations IS falling and is almost dead...just let it die people. Not even sad...happy actually.
I will be very happy to see the day Nations die. That way I don't have to force myself to log on every 16hours just to spend some turns. If not for my techies, I won't even bother to use my turns.
I must make a note that Kaz is only going to make the records because everybody with skills has retired. As such, there is no point in even trying. Competition is scarce, and the fun people leave more and more every day. I think it's time for us to go on a recruitment drive of some sort, because having 25 active players is a joke, especially when most of those 25 accounts are the same 4 people. If this site wasn't already on it's last legs, I'd do an overhaul on the user list and get rid of any cheaters, but I digress. I think it's time for us old guys to find another place to network.

The game no longer appeals to me as it once did, when there were REAL players around.
I, for one, am done with Nations, and all the drama that follows it.
Let's see you keep Nations as a war game when you are surrounded only by allies and friends. I'd enjoy seeing what you'll do then.
