i ave just achieved this rank and the monsters are doing more damage to me then i can afford to heal.
Are others ahving this problem or am i doing anything wrong FYI i have the Flak cannon and Mech V2 suit

Yaeh, healing is so underated. Hoarding money and dieing is the new IN.

Once you get in the higher ranks, healing gets more and more expensive, while your enemies only increase their cash drop slightly. They do not drop enough to cover healing costs in general.
Once you get higher and higher ranked, it will be longer and longer before you die, which is always nice. I have enough HP now to play for a decent amount of time (before I get bored). I then deposit money, die, and then play another day (or later in the day).
SO just keep at it!
I would like to remark that even with the small shield generator item, the healing is too much. I have yet to find another Shield Generator (I found one a long time ago, but then picked up something else) so I do not know if it will make healing worthwhile. When I did have the SG (regular, not small) it did NOT help enough to make healing worth it.

The SG won't help for healing, it mainly helps in the MPA.
Wow. how were you getting enough to heal at commander, captain and major?
I do remember top 1 TL player wont post this much like Numbertheory :D hehe its the opposite way :D good to be that way too :D
I find that if I run from Overminds I can usually make about 1-1.5 million per life at Lieutenant Colonel
Gaurdians evene every now and then do some serious damage.
In respose to Battlecruiser i didnt play those ranks i stayed at lieutenant untill i had enough exp and money to buy the best weapon/armour combi then promoted to LT col
Another cool thing about LC is that a lot of people are at this rank. Good MP rank.
