Cuurently the only ways to attain NN points are to buy them directly with real money (not TL credits...) win a Nations round or obtain them as a reward from staff member.

Well there are two categories to win in... Top ranked VIP and top ranked Non VIP.

Both will get you 750 points as a reward if you attain one of them which is the amount needed to exchange for a month of VIP if you choose to do so.

My mistake... Exchanging points for VIP is 725 not 750... So you would still have 25 points left over if you won a round in your category and used the points for VIP.

Lol.

Let's answer your questions in one post.

No, you CAN'T get NN points with TL credits. In fact, nothing you do in TL will get you points.

You can obtain points by doing the following:
- Paying for them here:
http://www.netnexus.com/membership/nnp.php

- Receiving them as a gift from another person.

- WINNING a round of Nations. The person who finishes at #1 wins 750 points. IF the #1 person is a VIP user, the HIGHEST RANKED NON-VIP user ALSO gets 750 points. If the #1 player is a non-VIP, nobody but them receives the points.

The ONLY purpose of NN Points at this time is to get VIP membership.

(Warning: the following does not apply to your question, so just ignore it if you want.)

However, here's a pretty cool fact:

It's CHEAPER to get VIP by buying a bunch of NN points. If you buy 3000 points @ $27 USD, it works out to about 4.13 months of VIP. If you keep buying in blocks of 3000, it's slightly cheaper than buying 6 months at a time. Buying for 12 months at a time is the cheapest by far, though. Also, if you buy 3000+1500 points (in order to get as close as possible to the 4350 points needed for 6 * 1 month of VIP), you're losing a bit of money because the 1500 points costs more per point than the 3000 points. The savings is so little, however, that you'd have to be doing this for years in order to see the advantage. At that rate, you're better off buying VIP in the 1 year block. The problem is obviously that 725 doesn't go into 3000 perfectly, so you've got some left over points that are just sitting there. If you buy enough 3000 blocks, you'll eventually get one free month (or, better yet, 6 months free, which is the goal).:D I'd have to do more than 5 seconds of calculations to figure out when exactly the free month occurs, but really, you're better off just buying VIP directly. I'm talking like CENTS less per month of VIP you're getting. It's something like 6.67 per month with 6 months and 6.55 with points, and only if you're doing it over a long time, in order to use the remaining points. If 12 cents matters, why are you on the Internet?

If you don't like it.

That means you don't play it.

If you don't play it, why are you complaining about it.

Does it make you cool?

*Complains about WoW*
