I just got to the rank of Staff Sergeant and started to see items.
Do you get the same chance of getting rare items as a higher rank does. Or do higher ranks get better odds of getting better items.

I could be wrong, but I think it's the same chances.
Either or, the shields are what your goal should be. Food and lottery tickets are meh especially at higher ranks

i agree with alwaysbored, anyways tl gets me bored now a days ^_^
I have only seen items that help with my life so lets hope i get lucky one of these days. But thanks for the help guys.

TL is a pretty dead game, I don't think it'll be coming back to full life ever again.. If we had more than 1-2 active players, I'd come back maybe. I miss when the MPA was full all the time. All the clan wars, twas fun.
DrakenRahl, you should come back once i get a good rank i'll mp with you anytime you want. I saw 3 people in the game training yesterday, so it's a start.
My number one problem with TL now is buying HP it will take "forever"lol if you reach higher rank.
Yes i do agree with you. Adding a few more high amount of health items for higher ranks would be great.
Just like any game the best way to keep games alive and fresh is to keep making updates to it.
Maybe like every 6 monthes add a few new items or a new add on to the game would really help.

Items have the same chance of showing up no matter what rank you are. The TLFAQ that is linked in the Sticky thread should list every known item.

I have two files, one that I'm leveling and one that I'm keeping at Recruit for kill farming (Leaderboards).
I have yet to find one single item of any sort on my Recruit file, and I'm like 10-15k kills in.
However, when I started my leveling file; I noticed the same thing, and started seeing items after about two promotions and the rate has increased with each rank.
Unless your argument would be that I am just extremely unlucky :P

Items only show up at Staff Sergeant and above. Other than that the drop rate has nothing to do with rank. also the TL guide does *NOT* have every known item as I've added some new ones recently, in addition to updating the stats of some of the current ones to scale with gameplay a bit better. More items and equipment along with new monsters will be added soon, I've just been out to sea for a while. I've already added a bunch anyway.
when do you think the armor locker will be updated!!!!!!!
