I've been monitoring a little how the user *ruud* been active lately.

While doing so, there was also another *Specialist* player which was just under ruud in the Top Marines Monster Kill with over 400k kills.

That user is not in the list anymore (i forgot his name) and i was just wondering how can someone disapear from the Monster Kill Count list when he's on Top. (cant get negative counts)

So while we're at it, would ruud be a bot? O_o
If not, let me tell you two things:

1- Dude, get a life if you're actually not botting (getting over 30'000 kills in about 4 days is insane)

2- I hope someting happens to your account and that you disapear from the Top Marines Charts and let real player the pleasure to have their name there.

Maybee some people have found shortcuts, but i agree i highly doubt someone could get 50k kills in a couple of days as it takes me on average 1h per 1.2k kills of intense clicking!

We are constantly monitoring for Bots. I've been checking on Ruud for a very very very long time, and there is no proof of botting. He is on at random times, never the same times. And his kill count increases about 2 per second while he is on. That is perfectly normal.

As I said in another post, there may be bots or macros that you can set to run the game but they stop at the antibot. At that point a botter could just tab over, type in the captcha and continue on their way. This means that even if someone is botting, they are still paying attention enough to keep the bot going every 800 turns.

Also in that other post I asked you as members to please not make public posts about bots and instead please submit Help Tickets so that we can start looking into them privately. It is important to go through the proper channels for this because if you alert a botter in the forums, they could halt the bot entirely and then we have nothing to go on.

Also 30,000 kills in 4 days is maybe 5-6 hours of clicking total...I average between 5 and 7 thousand an hour when I'm committed. Ruud is just very consistent and has never taken any long periods of time off. You also have to understand that he has a weapon and armor that make it so that he doesn't take damage anymore, so he never has to worry about dying, and he also doesn't have to worry about dropping an item.

Just some things to think about.

but like you said, we have no proof (and i dont either) for ruud and i'm sure he doesn't bot as well due to random times he's on like you said. (i saw that too) so that's why i posted this.

that,s why i told him to get a life because he's too intense XD.

Inactive players get automatically removed from Top 25 after 3 months. It might explain why that specialist "disappeared" from the list.

ok quick question, how the hell do you get 5k-7k kills per hour!?

i'm wondering the same thing. i get around 3k kills max per hour... and i thought i was going fast LOL

I can't do that sort of speed too. There's always that slight 1 second delay between searching and attacking, plus you die pretty quickly if you don't choose which enemies to leave out, which will force you to waste another 5 minutes waiting.

I'm not seeing how you guys do it.

My armor: goliath mech v2
weapon: rail gun.

On a full bar of hp,(5.26 mil hp), I can only get 5 mil credits if I don't discriminate against enemies, 10+ mil credits if I choose my enemies wisely.

It's been a long time since I have last posted here.

Just a short introduction about me in TL for those who are new to me. I am the owner of ruud. I guess most veteran player here have known my presence in the game since 2003.

Before the big reset, I am holding on to general ruud account where at one point, there's a controversial dispute over my mp kill count.

After the reset, I have to start from scratch. With the new (current) ruud account, I decided to aim for top wasteland kill ranking instead since there's not much play in mp like the good old days.

Initially, I have the mentality to play normally. i.e. to click and promote as long as it is viable to do so. But I realize it will take a longer time to achieve, so I decided to undervalue my rank and grind my way through.

Now I have succeeded in my objective. Of course, I am aware of the possibility of people out there raising question over the numbers. As a response to the current dispute, I hereby declare that I am a true genuine player armed with my trusty razor abyssus mouse. Nothing more, nothing less.

Having a reputation of the top rank, I did receive offers proposing to grind other account or even sell off ruud account for $$$. But so far I didn't accept any of the offers.

By the way, I do have a life too if you are wondering. I also have chat up close with some people in TL. jinno is a great guy I have in latest contact with before he went inactive in the game (a few month ago i guess).

Thx for the info, even though you had to right to not justify yourself but it is appreciated.

And i agree that it's sucks when your integrity is questionned. I did not doubt of your behaviour 100% but you also agreed that some people may easily think otherwise.

I want you to know that i am sorry if you got offended by my thread since i pointed out to your name directly. Once again, i was just questionning some possibilities and with DannyFo's reply, i got my answer as, there are admins monitoring the game for bots.

But please, stop clicking that fast LOL
