Am I missing something... 12 replies
I was a couple of days late starting, but my stats are no where near some of you guys.
Is there a TL Guide out there anywhere? or can someone explain to me how you guys are advancing so quick. Please don't tell me you are sitting at your computer for hours clicking search... until death... search... until death... because if you are you really need a life.

Sitting at a computer clicking search, until death, search..... for DAYS on end.

You guessed it: "search" -> "until death" -> sometimes heal -> repeat.
When I first started out, I was very careful. But after several promotions, I could never make a profit, and so I would just keep fighting "until death," banking all of my money, and then dying.
I remember a day or so after the reset, "Return of the King" was on TV, and so I played TL, died, watched the movie, came back after 5 minutes, played for 3 minutes and died, went back to watch the movie, etc. That helped greatly when I was lower ranked.
I also got lots of reading done, cleaned my room, etc. while waiting to respawn after death.

Exactly, thats how I do it too. Play for 3, clean or read or anything for 5, repeat. Only for a hour or two then I get bored and do something else.

So you don't promote every time you are able? I realize that you end up fighting harder enemies if you do, but you also get more money for the kills.
Yeah, but you also die more often which slows down your money making considerably.
you also have to pay more to heal if you do heal. best thing to do is stop at liut until you get flak/yamato and admite vest/goliath v2
I don't heal. I let myself die. Healing seems a waste of money.

Huh, that's weird, I did the same thing as Theory, well, I was watching Return of the King on Tv some while waiting to respawn.
