New, Accepted promotions too fast, HELP! 4 replies

Hi I just recently started playing and, not knowing too much of what I was doing, I raised my health as much as I could, spent whatever I had left on equipment, and accepted promotions as soon as they were available. The result? I am now a specialist, with a C-10 Canister Rifle, Advanced combat armor, 135 max health, no item, and no cash... Can anyone give me tips on where I can go from now on to get some more level-appropriate equipment? I would rather get back on my feet by myself than just ask to have cash handed to me...

Go and find credit cards. Do not fight anything. Run from everything. Deposit after every find. You'll die a few times due to getting hit while running, but you'll make enough cash to upgrade. Get armor first.

Specialist with C10/Adv? ROFL! Sorry, but that's really bad. You should have that before you even take your first promotion. I insist on Vulture Combat Armor by Specialist.
