Say if radars cannot pick up stealth aircraft, what wouyld happen if Visible signals where emitted from a device and shot into the air.

if you were too see a pattern or an area where the signals bounce or disapear, that could be considered the said stealth target.

does anyone think something like this could work, with microwave energy, or other energy waves

of ocurse you would need a viewer too track the signals as they are emittedinto the air.

kind of like radar, but vice versa, visible signals being tracked on a radar type technology looking for bouncing or disappearing signals

You should write to phonics. And get them to send you a book.

Uhhh... If the radars could pick them up to begin with, then how would you know they're there?

Unless you're going to spam said missiles in the air constantly?

the reason stealth aircraft works is they absorb or bend any sort of 'waves' shot at them. thus your visibility waves would be ineffective.

no nno bmd then said intercepror aircraft would proceed too every bouncing spot

So you're going to send out waves, and when they don't bounce back, you know you've found a stealth aircraft? That IS what RADAR is. It's when the waves come back you've found something... Stealth planes are designed so they either reflect back a minimum amount of waves to the receiver, or none at all.

You're suggesting visible waves? Like light? I expect it would be very hard to make a beam of colored light visible over a long enough distance to be effective. I don't actually know if that's what you mean because it makes no sense lol.

MAYBE YOU TWO SHOULD SWITCH USERNAMES THEN

Visible radar? Like a massive spotlight?

Yeah... No. Like someone else pointed out, you'd need to use some sort of spot-light to actually light up what you're looking for. But, in order for you to even detect the aircraft in time, you'd need to be able to beam this light-source over miles and miles of airspace. And then you'd need a camera that could track alongside the the beam of light, so you could monitor whether or not your light was hitting anything or not.

But it just simply wouldn't be possible. The idea of trying to shine a giant flashlight across the sky while keeping track of it with a giant telescope is just a little... Well... Yeah.

The only other application that could be similar to this would be lasar-radar, but then you run into the same problems. The shape and materials of stealth aircraft are designed to "deflect" these time of waves away, so that the radar unit doesn't get a positive return. So you'd be back at square one. Except you'd have a really huge laser-pointer that you could use to i love you with your cat.

If there is any way to do it that we could come up with to find stealth fighters, then the military thought of that method a long time ago and it didn't work.

None of us are THAT smart or creative.

Speak for yourself. Many of us have potential that may never be known, nor will it be with your way of thinking.
