Hello anyone and everyone,

My name is Rick. I just started playing this game and I registered but I am confused on how I get started. I don't understand what I'm suppose to do. Help would be nice.

My recommendation would be to read the in-game manual (although it's slightly outdated with some recent changes) or pop into chat and ask for player help whenever you're on. There's often players willing to show you the ropes.

when you login to nations ... after typing your username/password click the [ PLAY THE GAME! (WITH CHAT) ] link ... requires java to be installed so if you don't have that visit, www.java.com and get it

Hi again. I tried going into the chatroom but it wouldn't let me. I'm assuming I will have to download the java. So far I understand the turns and researching units and buying land. Is there anything else that I left out that would be important?

when you research in multiples of 4 units in your research page, your ally gets 1 unit of the same

eg. i research 4 military, anyone who has a tech alliance with me will get 1 military

meaning it is best to always research in groups of 4. (everyone should know this haha)

-you can only have 3-

of course.. the best tech alliances are coveted :P!

When I tried attacking ak47 it said that- "Unable to use this feature as you're still under newbie protection."

You are under newbie protection for the first three days of the round when you first start or restart your nation. You can't be attacked but you also can't attack anyone.

greenarrow- dont listen to jeb. attacking me is pointless, considering im semi-retired and youre not on my level. you have to have a certain amount of tech to attack me.
