Okay, to be fair, Michael Jackson released THE BEST SELLING POP ALBUM OF ALL TIME and left an impact on music in so many ways that you would have to be blind to not see it. He revolutionized the music video with Thriller, and Billie Jean has to be one of the best songs in the history of mankind. Additionally, if I recall correctly, he was acquitted of child molestation by a jury of his peers. I think people were just trying to take advantage of how rich he was.

I think Michael Jackson's death is going to boost his record sales by a large margin. I already know a couple people who are reminiscing by listening to his music.
All of them.

In ten years, no one will care who rape what or who didn't do which. I never follow celebrity scandals so I have no clue, but Michael Jackson was a great singer and that will be how many people will remember him as.
While ripping his music off in limewire or something.
