Draft update? 22 replies
The draft is still scheduled to happen? Just a few thoughts. Is everyone still prepared to honor the picks and clans that drafted the picks? I know I stand by what has been proposed this far. I also think that there should be no trades or substitutions. I also think that the draft clans should be limited to the picks selected with no additions. Discuss!
yea i hope everyone who signed up and was drafted..still plays. i still think each clan should be allowed one trade. but for sure no additions or substitutions. good point.

I think there should only be substitutions for the inactive people.
I'm still in..clans stay as is unless by someone not playing the clans wind up with uneven numbers.

I think that if a person goes inactive they basically screwed the clan over. It'll keep people on their toes, if they actually care about the event. There should be no kicking/inviting of any members out of the roster.

i think there should only be substitutions if someone goes inactive. is there going to be outside alliances made? or is it just going to be the four draft clans battling it out?
gi joe says batteling it out and Ive heard similar sentiments from thruster... So does this me it'll be a war round? Cause I'm not down for that so much.
I think perhaps a substitution could be made after say the player does not join the draft clan within 48 hours of the start of the round as long as two of three other draft clan leaders agree to it? Just a starting point to address the issue. Alliances? Would be hard to have alliances as the draft clan thing is here for only a round? As far as a war round I guess will be left up to each clan? I think as this is for one round would be pointless to war each other and doesn't prove much. I was thinking would nice to see the draft clans just go full out teching as I think there could be quite a few surprises.
I agree with Stormy. Alliances seem silly. I mean it'd be interesting if two of the draft clans allied for the round and then betrayed each other. The possibilities are endless. And I do plan on having another draft more organized in a few rounds. I'm going to work on a PHP site and allow the 4 leaders to have a username and password and the draft will be done properly with alternating picks rather than just choosing in order of thier list. Because truely what one person picks could change another's mind. But that will be at least 4 rounds away. I'm extremely busy. Just a heads up. =)
