yes i was just looking at that. ive got some funds to buy some oil, but everyine is ten bucks. Some vips are missing out on some cash. i only buy 10 dollar stuff when my income is higher, to support those who i need to.
People are trying to control the market by buying out all the lower priced goods. ;)

Well if users were SMART they would simply purchase from the nations market when VIP market is $10 or more. Cut off their money to force them to lower their prices.
nations market is a good way to lose all of your turns though, unless you have a LOT of industrial

A lot of users COULD research more agri, ref, and med and stop depending on the market for food and oil until they lower back to 3, but the truth is, they just won't.
A lot of users are going for the top, not just war and stuff. The way they research are planned out, somewhat.
If they do start researching those 3 researches now, they'll still be losing food and oil, and the users who are still buying food and oil from the market would get ahead of them.
In land and in base.
Even if they try to boycott the market for a day or two. The VIPs will survive, no problem, we have like 3 - 10 million stocked up from all the goods they did buy. And it only take about a million max to do a full set of turns.
But a day without food and oil will crush a user's population and their funds.
No funds = No research = No tech.
Rather than researching something that would give them no tech, I think they would rather research industry, which gives them tech and a lot more money to buy the food and oil they need.
So what I'm saying is.
It hurts the user more than it hurts the VIPs if they try to boycott the market.
If you guys want lower prices, you'll just have to wait till the other VIPs to stop exploring and start making food.
