Another reason why this site is died 51 replies
I decided to play a full round of nations, after over a year of not playing. But since there are no active admins and the mods have no power to keep this site active and the members under control. I have given up and once again will move on to spend some free time on another site. After receiving tons of messages like this one.

I realized it's time to delete the nations address from my computer. Lets hope more people will finally get the point and let this site die in piece. I can still remeber when this site was a great place to spend some good quality time, with some good friends.

Sorry to see you go, but as you told me before, you were leaving anyway, so what you are making it out to be, to be like you're leaving because of someone else, is not fully true. I have had worse, from strangers, from newbies, from people who I'm warring with, from many people I don't even know. It never crossed my mind that addressing it in the forums would win me any brownie points. But most ironically, as the title of this thread says, it is not because of players who swear and call names, and bicker at eachother, but because of exactly what youre doing, giving up and leaving, which is the negative way in my view. I know that leaving this game can also be viewed as positive, which I do agree with, but if you can't handle it, then don't.

i once complained to a mod about vulgar language in personal messages and they told me if it was a personal message there was nothing they could do about it.

As for the issue about swearing in private messages:
I have had experience of people "faking" a private message, so to speak, to try and get someone banned.
In the future, I guess something like emailing a mod a screenshot of the message or something along those lines would work better than simply copy/pasting it.

Considering how much cheating has been cut down, not to mention new features to the game, I think you're full of it Rizer. Yeah, maybe someone sent you a msg, but either deal with it or tell a Mod. This site is hardly dead, and just because you had a problem and are leaving doesn't mean everyone else does.
There's one more thing I would like to point out as well, and that is the fact that there were lot's of messages back in the "glory days of NN" just like the one shown here in this thread.... If not, it was worse back then due to the fcat there were more people... and also, there were a lot of flamers back then.
yeah Hi-Liter we can deal with those, that's where most of my warnings used to go to. Screenshots usually help too, just in case someone starts arguing that they didn't actually say that.

For starters just because you don't see an Admin doesn't mean they aren't there.
Secondly if something is being done that you have an issue with and Mods cannot see common sense would tell you usually to report it to us otherwise we cannot do anything about it.
If it is your wish not to report things to us that you have a problem with so they can be dealt with in a quick and professional manner then don't make threads like this expressing your discontent because you couldn't take two seconds to open the contact page and send a Mod an email.
In a nutshell if you don't take the time to report issues to us that should be reported then you have absolutely no right to complain and should keep your mouth shut on such issues.

Exactly, and just because I don't play this game the way I used to doesn't mean I don't moderate it, I check the help tickets at least once a day along with my e-mail (you might get a few days lagged response on the nations messaging thing, but I'll see that eventually)
Almost all of the issues that I've dealt with here have had a good ending, cheaters have been caught, bad language has been reprimanded... if there's an error I can usually figure it out.

Face it,this place has had a slow decline in population for some time.Some point to the multis being cleaned for this,but.....i knew muliple ppl in real life that played this game(all gone).Does this site even advertise?.Maybe the site should be sold to someone that will pump life into it!.If it was myself as owner i would push the advertisement hard and pay the ppl that maintain current games and write new ones.

I don't know about your logic, ghoul, but I would say Tina has made some good points, and ironically, I wouldn't mind following her thoughts on how bad your guys grammar is. I mean, I don't have perfect grammar, but atleast I try. However, I still manage to understand your posts. I would say for the future, why not try yourself and some people may respect what you have to say a little bit more.
