An important message on behalf of Netnexus 34 replies
As you are all aware by now, the new round of Nations has begun.
We think this round will be more interesting with more people. To this end, we request that you tell all your friends about Netnexus and Nations, and invite them to try it out.
If we have enough players, we'll give out 3, 4, or even more VIP memberships (we're also looking into T-shirts, mousepads, coffee mugs, etc). The more active players we have, the more rewards we will give back to you guys.
Repeat: The more active players we have, the more rewards will give to YOU.

some ppl are amused at netnexus.
others are confused as to why i play it instead of my usual SC, SR, WC3, D2, WOKF games...
so my friend base is split, 350 of them on avg wouldnt mind playing, other 350 probably would be on the "i don't really have time for that" mindset.

Rather than giving excuses as to why none of your friends would play, why not just try recruiting from other game sites, and just putting the effort forth? If you want this site to thrive, you the users need to do what you can to help it. Tell your friends to play for a round as a favor, who knows, some might stay.
ive told many friends...i get the same reaction..."Wtf is this!?" then they make fun of me...

To be honest, wasn't it us who put this place on the map? I don't recall clicking an advertisement for this site. We did it, and we can do it more...

Then... the other eighty percent gets the same chance as us to get this VIP... bah.. Not enough incentive. Plus the more players we bring, the less chance of getting Vip.
Now if you were asking for a favour as a friend, saying, "Hey, we need help guys!" thats got abit more incentive to it, then a random chance at Free VIP, that we'll never get.

my goodness i hate to say it but i have to agree with warbeast on this. the game reads as a text based war game on the game listing sites it is on. but in truth we havent seen a full blown out war in years. everyone thinks they do good to get a top ten now adays wonder how they could handle having to try to do that with a war going on most couldn't is my bet.
Everyone that i've ever tried to get into playing Nations got bored after a round.
